About us

We’re Lee, Michelle and Cullen – and we never intended to be a family of farmers; in fact, he’s a dentist and she’s a teacher. But when we moved back to Tifton, pecans found their way into our kitchen – and our hearts.

We bought a piece of property and soon discovered it had pecan trees. At first, we’d pick them up and bring them elsewhere to have them cracked. Then, after much research (Lee’s background as a chemist and a dentist definitely helped!), we decided to extract the oil from our home-harvested pecans. With its high smoke point, great aroma and flavor, it made a fantastic and very personal gift for family and friends, so we decided to share the love by selling it at nearby farmer’s markets, too.

The positive feedback we’ve gotten on our pecan oil pushed us to dive deeper into the world of pecans. We can now tell the quality and flavor of a pecan just by looking at it. We’ve baked thousands of batches of pecan-flour cookies (Cullen is a great taste-tester) to perfect our recipe, and we’re eating our weight in pecan toffee, too. In the name of product research, of course.

We’re a family-owned business, focused on freshness, quality and flavor. Every pecan is hand-harvested, and our cookies and other Cullen-ary delights are hand-mixed and baked to perfection by us. Our goal is to bring “a little something gourmet” to south Georgia by way of our family-grown pecans, and we intend to have a little fun along the way!
